DUNGEONBOWL: ASTROGRANITE EDITION

Expanded rules and hobby ideas for the board game of dungeon fantasy football

Dungeonbowl Team Profiles

In the beginning, Dungeonbowl was one tournament, held once, with each of the ten Colleges of Magic represented by one team. The ten original teams that played in the original Dungeonbowl tournament have since become legend, and are still going strong as the prime representatives of their sponsor College in the now annual Dungeonbowl tournament.

This page presents an overview of the ten teams that were introduced in the original Dungeonbowl game. This is includes a historical list of the teams' composition, as the teams have featured different racial combinations in different versions of GW's rules. As such, each team presentation will explain what races were allowed on the original 1989 team, what races were allowed on the 1998 updated team, and finally what races have been featured on the AGE teams in the DB:AGE league. Note that in the AGE rules, the three races are not fixed, and may be changed over the duration of a league.

All races are listed below with the Primary Race first, Secondary Race second, and Tertiary Race third. For game rules for the players and races found on the teams presented, including explanations of new or changed races, see the Races and Player Options page.

If you wish to browse a selection of painted models for the teams described, click on the illustration for the team below to go to the AGE gallery page for the chosen College. The information and illustrations below all come from and are based on the original Dungeonbowl game box art.

Alternative Dungeonbowl Team Examples

The Iron Blades are a mix of the weedy and the brutal, using cowardly Hobgoblins bolstered by monstrous Ogres and Mutant Centaurs.
